- Global Engagement
The UQ Global Engagement (GE) office supports the development and implementation of the University’s Global Strategy and through the management of international partnerships, programs and projects enhances the reputation of UQ as a leading global institution.
The GE teams build and maintain a network of strategic international relationships and collaborations and provide expert support and advice to stakeholders, with the aim of identifying and prioritising opportunities that will showcase and extend UQ’s research, teaching and learning, and engagement activities.
With the aim of supporting the successful implementation of the new Global Strategy Framework, the pilot UQ Global Strategy and Partnerships Seed Funding Scheme will assist UQ faculties, institutes and units to pursue activities that will strengthen the impact of UQ’s Global network. The DVCI portfolio has approved an amount of $100,000 to be made available in 2016 under the Scheme.Read more ›
The International Delegations and Events team is responsible for coordinating the annual cycle of high-level offshore engagement events undertaken by the University’s senior executive. The team also co-ordinates and facilitates on-shore global engagement events and visits to The University of Queensland by international visitors.Read more ›
The Partner Engagement Framework (PEF) measures engagement with international partner universities using indicators related to various aspects of institutional collaboration and linkages. The framework allows The University to assess areas of current strength, potential future engagement and where further development is needed to maximise the mutual benefit made possible by these partnerships.Read more ›
The Country Engagement Framework (CEF) provides a consolidated view of UQ’s international performance by Country. The CEF includes 80 countries measuring performance and engagement across 15 learning, discovery and engagement indicators. The indicators currently reflect UQ’s 2013 performance with results presented on a sliding scale to reflect low, medium and high engagement.Read more ›
