International financial aid

The University of Queensland participates in, and assists students to apply for student loan programs offered by their government to cover tuition fees and study related expenses while enrolled as a full-time student at UQ.

Please note that only citizens of the following countries may apply to the loans shown on this page. 

United States of America (USA)

• US Department of Veterans Affairs loans
• AmeriCorps

Canada

• Canadian provincial / Federal loans

Europe

• Germany: For completion of Bafög forms, please refer to your Faculty Office or the Student Centre
• Norway: Please contact Financial Aid Officer for completion of Lånekassen Form-C, submission of transcripts and receipts.
• Sweden: Please contact the Financial Aid Officer for completion of “CSN Study Assurance/ School Signature” Forms
• Denmark: Please contact the Student Centre or Financial Aid Officer for completion of “Certification of Study Progress (Udlandsstipendium)” Forms

Colombia

• COLFUTURO:  It is a joint public and private sector initiative aimed at facilitating the access of Colombian professionals to further education abroad.

• Science Without Borders: It is a large-scale nationwide scholarship program primarily funded by the Brazilian federal government.
