Things to do

At UQ you will never get bored will all the things you can do around its campuses. Attend concerts, ceremonies and public lectures, and visit art galleries, libraries, museums and research collections.

Music

The School of Music presents regular performances by students, staff and guests artists. 

Attend a free lunchtime concert every Thursday at 12:30pm during semester in the Nickson Room at the School of Music on the St Lucia campus.

Theatre and cinema

See performaces by student and community groups at the Schonell and Cement Box theathres at the St Lucia campus. 

The Schonell Theatre also screens films from Thursday to Monday.

Museums, art galleries and research collections

UQ is home to many intriguing museums, art galleries and holds collections in Anatomy, Anthropology, Antiquities, Geology, Insects, Medical History, Pathology, and Physics, to name a few.
