COLFUTURO's Scholarship Loan Program is providing Colombian students with more and better study opportunities.

This is COLFUTURO ’s first and most important sponsor program. 

It finances the costs of graduate studies around the world up to a maximum of US$25 000 per year and for a maximum two year stay abroad.

Eligible students must meet the following selection criteria:

• Have been admitted unconditionally into a high quality graduate program (in any field of knowledge and anywhere in the world).
• Present an international language proficiency examination.
• Have an excellent academic record.

Once students have graduated, they have up to 3 months to return to Colombia in order to qualify for a scholarship comprising a 25% waiver of the loan for Bussiness Administration and related programs or 50% for all other areas of study.

COLFUTURO students get more at UQ:

• COLFUTURO students are awarded with a scholarship covering 10% of tuition fees.
• A 20% fee reduction is awarded to one Colfuturo student from each of the following programs:
  • Master of Agribusiness
  • Master of Business (Entrepreneurship)
  • Master of Business (International hotel and tourism management)
  • Master of Engineering (Management)
  • Master of Environmental Management
• Full tuition fee scholarships^ are awarded to two eligible PhD candidates in one of the following fields:
  • Engineering
  • Tourism
  • Agribusiness
  • Ecology/Environmental Science
  • Entrepreneurship
• Latin American students who have applied for a coursework Master degree in Business, Economics or Tourism and intend to accept their offer, are eligible for a professional internship scholarship allowing them to gain international work experience and develop international networks.*
• All international students receive access to English language support and study support throughout the UQ study program. **
