Enrolment status after submitting your thesis
When you submit your thesis for examination, you will still remain as an enrolled student on the UQ system. The Graduate School will change your enrolment code to RSCH9900 - Thesis under examination. You will continue to be enrolled in this code until your degree is awarded. Therefore, all your student accounts should remain active and you should be able to access all University services available to you as a UQ student, including library access, UQConnect, and your UQ email account, regardless of whether you return home or remain in Australia while your thesis is under examination.
Provided you are still enrolled on the UQ system, the expiry date on your student ID card may be extended until the end of the examination period of that semester.
Visit the UQ Graduate School's website for more information on thesis assessment.
