UQ Union Clubs and Societies
During your stay at UQ you will have opportunities to meet a lot of Australian people. Take advantage of opportunities to meet people. There are a number of clubs and societies on campus that you can join, and is a great way to meet fellow students with similar interests and have some fun. Some of the most popular clubs include the Chocolate Appreciation Society, Amnesty International and the Law Society.

Gatton Students Association
Students at the Gatton campus can become members of the UQG Students Association. The Association provides a number of different services for students including representation on University boards and committees. Members receive free services including:
- Support for clubs and societies on campus
- Access to the Bosworth Club facilities which includes use of the pool tables, TV, DVD projector, and tea room with microwave
- Access to the beach volleyball court
- Lawyers Campus Club – open every Wednesday, Friday and the first Sunday of every month for meals and drinks
- Undercover parking (hire fee applies)
- Access to noticeboards – for employment, items for sale, and other notices of interest to students
- Social events

Gatton students are also entitled to use services offered by the Student Union.

Gatton International Students Association (GISA)
GISA is a voluntary association composed of members of the community, staff and students of UQ Gatton. The objective of the Association is to initiate services and coordinate and assist interested organisations in providing services that contribute to the wel-fare of international students.
The Association gives particular emphasis to reception, accommodation, orientation, hospitality and recreational needs of International Students.
