At some stage during your studies, it is likely that you will have some questions or need some support or advice.
You are encouraged to be proactive by seeking help early! Avoid waiting until a problem becomes overwhelming and interferes with your ability to study successfully. Remember that seeking help is normal and you will not be judged for doing so.
If you have questions about your academic work, you are encouraged to talk with your lecturers, tutors and academic advisers (and supervisors for research students) in your school or faculty. If you need support with academic skills such as academic writing, study or exam skills and time management, Learning Advisers in Student Services will be able to assist you.
The UQ Library also provides workshops (see the Training Calendar) and self-assessment resources (see the RHD Information Skills Audit) to assist you with your research.
For students needing support to further develop their English language skills, the Institute of Continuing and TESOL Education (ICTE-UQ) has a range of courses on offer throughout the year.
