Robotics Workshop for Girls

Robogals and The University of Queensland (UQ) would like to invite girls from year 7 up to year 12 to attend a full-day Robotics Workshop for girls on 16 December 2010 at UQ’s St Lucia campus.
During the day, students will be able to try hands-on robotics activities and meet some of our female Engineering students.

About Robogals
Robogals is a student-run organisation that aims to engage schoolgirls in engineering topics from a young age, with the long-term goal of increasing female enrolment in engineering, science and technology courses at universities.

Location: Boeing Lab (208), General Purpose South Building (78), St Lucia Campus, School of Information Technology & Electrical Engineering
When: 10 Apr, 28 Jun, 27 Sep & 20 Dec 2012 from 9.00am-3.00pm
Age groups: Year levels 7-12 students (12 years of age and above), girls only
Requirements: Closed footwear
Cost: $20 per student, cheque or money order payable to Robogals
