COMMON ILLNESS

Many minor illnesses do not require a consultation with a health professional or any specific treatment beyond commonsense measures such as eating a nutritious diet, drinking plenty of water, avoiding abuse of alcohol and other drugs, and getting an adequate amount of sleep.

However it is important to seek professional advice for persistent or severe symptoms particularly if they are interfering with your ability to participate in normal activities.
