Alcohol, Tobacco & Other Drugs

The UHS at St Lucia has access to a drug and alcohol counsellor close to campus, as well as the general practitioners available for consultation for anyone experiencing difficulties with substance abuse.

Health Service offers a free and confidential needle exchange service.

Australian Drug foundation has excellent information on tobacco, alcohol and other drugs at http://www.adf.org.au/index.htm

The Queensland Alcohol and Drug Information Service (ADIS) is a 24 hour service. If you would like information about any drug or alcohol issues for yourself or anyone else you may have concerns about, please telephone 3236 2414 (Brisbane area) or 1800 177 833 from outside the metropolitan area.
