The results of research carried out within the Faculty has lead to national and international recognition for discoveries that are improving outcomes in many health areas.
The work being carried out by UQ health researchers continues to attract major funding and important partnerships. Collaborations with research groups in related area is often the key needed to turn the lock and open the door to new discoveries in health. This Faculty's health researchers are forging links with areas inside and outside the University - with leading Australian research hospitals, UQ's internationally recognised Institute for Molecular Biology, the Queensland Brain Institute, Diamantina Institute and other important research nodes in Australia and around the world.
