Become an Alumni Class Captain

Were you ever part of the student council or a recognized leader of your class? Did you ever want to be? Well your leadership is still needed today. Our schools are searching for Class Captains from each graduating year.

As Class Captain you would be the leader, the bonding agent or glue that reconnects and brings together your graduating class. As a Class Captain you will:
  • Represent the members of your Alumni class year
  • Inform Alumni members of activities and events
  • Actively contribute to Alumni plans and activities
  • Maintain records of activities organised and undertaken
  • Liaise with their School Alumni Coordinator to disseminate and gather information in relation to Alumni activities

The Class Captain positions are not only a chance to be a leader, they are also a chance to reminisce, renew friendships, network, support your School, build community, and "give back".

If any of these opportunities are of interest, then we need you as Class Captain.

Become an Alumni Ambassador

Are you proud to be an alumnus of UQ and want to speak with pride and purpose of your alma mater to:

  •  influence the future of tertiary education and research in Australia
  • speak with prospective students, nationally and internationally, about doing a degree at UQ?
  • host events, lunches or talks over coffee for alumni relocating or researchers visiting the country you live in?
If you would like to volunteer your time in these kinds of endeavours, you would need to provide a bio or short CV, and contact UQ Health Sciences

Financially support your School’s priorities

Do you want to give back to your alma mater, but simply don’t have the time to volunteer? Your School has research and teaching priorities that would benefit enormously from your support.
