Problem-based learning gives you a professional role in a complex, real world problem that you have to solve.

Problem-based learning can seem a bit overwhelming at first, but when you get used to it you'll probably find that it's a very effective and exciting way to learn.

Problem-based learning will help you understand the relevance of what you are learning in your course, and how you will apply this knowledge in the real world.

It will also develop your skills in critical thinking, problem solving, information literacy, teamwork and communication. These portable skills are an important part of most jobs these days, and all Australian universities have a responsibility to develop these skills - officially known as graduate attributes - in their students.
