 Information overload

Information technology has created an information explosion. You may feel that you are being bombarded with information, and you don't know how to decide which information is important and which is not. Or you may have experienced the "lost in cyberspace" phenomenon when using the internet.


When distance students first start studying and they receive 3 inches [10 cm] of paper per course, it's important to let them know that everyone feels overwhelmed by this, and that they can get through this.
