The Library has developed a series of online tutorials for distance students. There are four tutorials:

Module 1: Getting started in the UQ Library

• Access Library information for distance learners
• Navigate the Library web site
• Find computer assistance using AskIT
• Take the first steps to finding information for your assignments
• Develop a search strategy
  

Module 2: Finding information for your assignments

• Identify journal articles for your assignments
• Locate these articles in the UQ Library
• Cite a range of resource types in the referencing style preferred by your school
  

Module 3: Effective internet searching

• Find information using the Virtual Reference Collection
• Use a range of internet search tools effectively
• Critically evaluate internet sources
  

Module 4: Putting it all together
