About this kit
The purpose of this learning support kit is to help
distance students succeed in their studies.
Who should use this kit?
If you're already a UQ distance student, this kit will
help you to understand the challenges that lie ahead
of you, and to discover ways of meeting those challenges.
If you're thinking about distance study at UQ, this
kit will help you to make informed decisions about your
enrolment.
We
suggest you start by taking the "Am I ready for
distance study?" quiz. This will help you decide
how to use this kit.
Kit = printed booklet + companion web site
This kit consists of both a printed booklet and this companion
web site, so that all distance students have access to
learning support.
If you're an undergraduate distance student studying
through the UQ Gatton campus, you're entitled to a free
copy of the booklet. If you didn't receive your free
copy, contact the Distance Education Centre at UQ Gatton
campus. (See the Contacts section
of this web site.)
If you're not entitled to a copy of the booklet, don't
worry. The information in the booklet is also available
on this web site.
