excluding the University periods at Easter, June/July and September.
 
Fees should be paid by the due date. Students unable to pay the fees by the due date should contact the Halls of Residence office to make alternative arrangements acceptable to the Business Manager.

Fees in red are halved or not incurred at all for one semester only, other fees are payable in full.
 
Activities Fee – Covers social, cultural and sporting activities run by the Halls of Residence and UQ Sport Gym membership.
Registration Fee – a one off fee to cover admission to the Halls of Residence and alumni databases.
PO Box rental – all University of Queensland – Gatton Campus students are required to have a Post Office Box for delivery of mail.
Building Development Fee – to be utilised to fund ongoing capital development of the Halls of Residence in the year the fee is collected.
Information Technology fee – contributes to the extensive telephone and internet connections maintained by the Halls of Residence.
Unattributable Damages Levy – to be utilised to cover damages were the person responsible is unknown. Any remaining funds are allocated to projects determined by the residents.
O-Week fee – covers accommodation during orientation week (O-Week) and functions organised by the O-Week committee.
 
The Administration fees ($1255or $855), ($710 or $600 for one semester only) are payable to secure an offer of a place at the Halls of Residence.
