Accommodation
On-campus accommodation is available in the UQ Gatton Campus Halls of Residence. Alternatively, off-campus accommodation includes district hotels, motels and caravan parks.
On-Campus Accommodation
Distance students who choose to stay on-campus during residential schools can apply for a student room in the Residential Halls with shared bathroom facilities at $65 per day (includes three meals a day). The cost of on-campus accommodation includes a single study room and three meals per day, bed linen, towel, blankets and a pillow. All students attending a residential school and staying in on-campus accommodation are required to take the full package; that is, accommodation and meals.
If you want to apply for this accommodation, please complete the Accommodation Application and Payment form and send it at your earliest opportunity.
Full payment must accompany your application.
Please note:
• Absolutely no bookings will be accepted after 15 March 2013.
• No refunds will be given for changes to bookings after arrival.
• On the day you check in for residential school, the first meal is dinner that night. If you check in early in the day, you are not entitled to breakfast and lunch until the next day.
Residential school participants should be aware that their on-campus accommodation, in most cases, is that of a full-time resident who is on holidays. The Halls of Residence requires that visitors respect the property of the full-time residents by not interfering with items left in rooms. If you find any offensive material please contact the Halls office and your room allocation will be changed.
Administration Charges
Alterations to an original booking will attract an administration fee of $25. This includes changes to dates. Alterations must be requested in writing either by letter or by email.
There is a cancellation charge of $25 if you notify us before the start of residential school. Without advance notice, there will be no refunds for no-shows, late arrivals or early departures from residential school.
When you receive your receipt for accommodation please read the enclosed letter as it will include any alterations to the information given here.
