In November 1997, Senate established The University of Queensland Graduate School to cater specifically for the needs of the growing community of postgraduate students.

With more than 20 percent of its students undertaking a range of postgraduate studies, UQ is one of Australia's largest postgraduate training centres and offers students a superior study and research environment.

The University offers a range of postgraduate opportunities at many levels:
