The procedure for Graduands to collect their awards is as follows:

1. Move out of your seat when directed by staff, remembering to take your Graduate Presentation Card with you.
2. Staff will check your Academic Dress is positioned correctly.
3. Move to the Lectern when instructed.
4. Hand your card to the Presenter and when your name is accounced, walk across stage.
5. Gently shake hands with the Chancellor and move offstage. A photo of you shaking hands with the Chancellor will be taken.
6. Walk around the outside aisle to the far back corner of the hall. Tell the staff at the testamur table your name and degree and collect your testamur and transcripts.
7. Return to your seat via the centre aisle.
