If you will complete your program in Semester 2, 2009 you will be required to complete a Conditional Graduation Application form. This form serves two functions:
- It allows you to confirm for Graduations Section important details such as your name, degree and majors or fields of study (if applicable), and
- It allows you to inform Graduations Section whether you will attend your graduation ceremony and, if so, how many guest tickets you require.
Starting from 26 October students enrolled in Semester 2, 2009 at The University of Queensland, and who have been identified as potential December 2009 graduates, will receive an email from Graduations Section. They will receive another email when their Faculty or School confirms they will be eligible to graduate. This second email will ask them to complete the Conditional Graduation Application form online via mySI-net. Please be aware that the emails will be sent on a rolling basis. It is possible that your faculty will not be able to confirm your eligibility to graduate until mid-November. If you expect to graduate in 2009, please make sure your expected graduation semester in mySI-net is set to the correct semester. If it is not, please contact your faculty to have it updated.
Students not enrolled at The University of Queensland in Semester 2, 2009 but who have not graduated from their program, who have been identified as potential December 2009 graduates, will also receive these emails and be required to complete the Graduation Application form via mySI-net. Students who have graduated, but have deferred their graduation ceremony, will be sent a paper based Graduation Application form to complete. Research Higher degree students will also be sent a paper based Conditional Graduation Application form.
If you have not received a Graduation email, online Graduation Application form or paper Conditional Grad Application form by 23 November 2009, please contact Graduations Section.
Do not wait until your results have been confirmed before completing your Graduation Application.
