The magazine has usually been just mainstream, with the occasional article of interest, but this time the content seems much more readable. It was good to catch up on the pursuits of some of the people I know and learn more about the alumni. Also, it was interesting also to see the latest fashion style for eyeware amongst the female top brass in universities. Maybe Sandra Harding will join the trend. Is the an alumni outpost in NQ given that JCU was spawned by UQ?
There are usually many useful articles about other alumni and great research that UQ is doing. I am interested in software engineering but there is usually very few articles about IT which is a shame. The layout and design is very good. It is good to see community spirit in articles about Aceh humanitarian aid.
Dear Editors! Thank you so much for my first issue of Contact, that I received at home yesterday.To-day I brought this issue to work where the computer is better to make this reply.To-morrow marks 41 years that I received my M.B.B.S. diploma at the Brisbane City Hall.Yesterday marked 36 years that I left Brisbane to work in the Amazon jungle.I have entered into the medical history of Rondonia and Para.Your magazine is of high quality. The articles that are of interest to me are those about health and alumni abroad. GOD BLESS! A HAPPY AND MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A PROSPEROUS 2012!
