Thesis Production Costs

The Graduate School meets the production costs of  mandatory assessment copies that are produced through Theses Assessments for all candidates, up to a total of 400 pages (200 pages for MPhil) with up to 20 colour pages (10 colour pages for MPhil) - the candidate must pay for any additional pages or for additional colour pages.  If additional costs are incurred Theses Assessments will issue the candidate with an invoice.  The invoice can be paid at the University Cashiers Office and proof of payment must be forwarded to Theses Assessments before the thesis will be printed and sent out for assessment.

The Graduate School also meets the production costs of 1 permanently bound hard copy produced through the UQ Printery (same length and number of colour pages as above) and 1 CD copy of the final thesis for all graduates who request it. Note that the Graduate School and the UQ Printery do not meet the costs of postage: when you request your complimentary copy, you must make appropriate arrangements to collect your complimentary copy from the UQ Printery.

PLEASE NOTE:  If candidates wish to order the complimentary copy of their final thesis from the UQ Printery they will need to provide the UQ Printery with a copy of their thesis either as a hard or soft copy as the UQ Printery do not have access to final theses that are uploaded to the UQ eSpace.
