UQ is an international research leader across a comprehensive range of disciplines, allowing you to undertake a research degree in virtually any field; from biosciences to nanotechnology to sustainability, social science or the arts. UQ has six faculties and in partnership with government, industry and private donors, has developed eight globally-recognised research institutes. RHDs can be studied in an Institute or a School/Centre in a Faculty.
