How to apply

At UQ, we have made applying for a research higher degree (RHD) as simple as possible. You can apply and commence an RHD any day of the year, simply by following these steps.

	Familiarise yourself with research higher degrees at UQ
	Search for a potential advisor
	Submit an Expression of Interest
	Liaise with the School / Institute regarding your Expression of Interest
	Prepare a Research Proposal
	Apply for Admission & Scholarship (by invitation only)
	After your submit your application
