Establishment Grant

The Establishment Grant helps newly enrolled students with costs such as, but not limited to, relocation expenses or computer equipment.
 
Only students that are awarded an APA, UQCentennial / IPRS or UQRS, who did not enrol before or are newly enrolled since the last scholarship round, are entitled to an Establishment Grant. UQI recipients are not eligible for this grant.
 
Students transferring to the University of Queensland after starting their research higher degree at another institution qualify for the Grant as long as they meet the above criteria.
 
Eligible RHD students receive the Establishment Grant in their first scholarship payment. The value of the grant is $2500.
 
Grant recipients who relinquish the scholarship within three months of receiving the grant may be required to repay monies received to the University.
