The University of Queensland instituted annual Awards for Excellence in Research Higher Degree Supervision in 2000, making the University one of the first Australian institutions to offer such awards. The Awards recognise, encourage and reward sustained excellence in research higher degree supervision, education, mentoring and guidance at the University.
