Welcome

Sue FairleyWelcome to the Grace College website which will give you an insight into College life. Grace College, an activity of the Uniting and Presbyterian Churches, was founded in 1970 to provide a home and Christian environment for young women attending the University of Queensland. Since then the college has flourished and overseen the academic, cultural and social maturing of thousands of young women, who have made the most of their opportunities both at college and university.

It is a real privilege for me to be Principal and to have the pleasure of seeing young women thrive during their time with us. Here at Grace you will make lifelong friends, be supported pastorally, academically and spiritually and have numerous opportunities to participate in sporting, cultural and social activities.

We have recently resurrected the Grace College Old Girls' Association and are hoping this will allow us to continue our friendships with those who have been part of this community in the past. Feel welcome to browse their web page and if you are an Old Girl, please join - we'd love to hear from you.

I hope you enjoy your virtual glimpse into life at Grace College. If you have any questions or would like to apply to Grace College, please do not hesitate to phone me on (07) 3842 4002 or email sfairley@uq.edu.au

Living at Grace you can expect a disciplined and stimulating environment where individual endeavour and achievement are recognized and applauded. It is a community that aims to develop each resident in body, mind and spirit. Why don't you come and discover that Grace truly is "the next best thing to home"?

Warm Regards.
