Academic, Sporting and Cultural Life

But Grace College offers more than just buildings and facilities - it is a welcoming community of highly skilled staff and friendly student who embrac and academic, sporting, cultural, social and spiritual life both on and off campus.

Academic: Grace College has a strong academic record with over one third of students maintaining a GPA of 6 or above. To support in their academic endeavours a range of academic tutorials are offered to students at no additional charge. Academic excellence is rewarded with a range of bursaries and awards.

sportSporting: Students at Grace are able to participate in a wide range of sports including rowing, netball, volleyball, basketball, tennis, squash, soccer, touch football, hockey, athletics, cross country, swimming and cricket.

Cultural: There is a wide range of cultural activities available including choir, art show, one act play, bandfest, College Idol, Dancefest, public speaking and debating.

Spiritual: Every week after Formal Dinner on Tuesday we have an informal Chapel service which is led by the students. It provides an opportunity for musicians and singers to use their skills in the leadership of praise and worship. Four times a year we have a combined chapel with Kings, Cromwell and Emmanuel Colleges.

Social: There are a number of social functions conducted by the Student Executive throughout their year including Boat Cruise, Grace At Home, Grace Ball, Grace Thaw-out and Valedictory Dinner.

Students are encouraged to find at least one extra-curricular activity that they can participate in.
