Student Facilities
Set in beautifully landscaped gardens, Grace College provides 150 single bedrooms with shared bathrooms, two double ensuite rooms and 21 single ensuite rooms. Each study bedroom contains a single bed, desk, desk chair, large built-in wardrobe with drawers and plenty of hanging space, telephone with voicemail and a high speed Ethernet Internet connection. Each floor has a shared bathroom, kitchenette, ironing facilities and a common room. Laundry facilities are in the basement of each block.
Grace College provides 21 nutritious and wholesome meals a week prepared by our own staff. There are both hot and cold options for breakfast and lunch or a packed lunch can be prepared if it is not possible to reeturn to the College. In the evenings late meals can be ordered if the meal hour clashes with lectures. The spacious dining room is air-conditioned and has a new parquetry floor.
Students also have use of the newly air-conditioned and refurbished Junior Common Room which doubles as a lounge and chapel and the smaller Senior Common Room. There is a new small gymasium, computer room, TV lounge and air-conditioned Conference Room which is used for tutorials and other functions.
The campus Safety Bus stops at Grace hourly every night allowing late night access to university libraries and other facilities. There is a limited number of car parks for returning students.
The college has a state of the art security system which ensures a safe environment.
