ICT Alumni Advantage Scholarship

Designed to encourage and support students; where financial, gender, geographic or cultural disadvantage provides a barrier to aspiring to tertiary studies. Scholarships are awarded to students with a passion to study ICT at UQ. Applicable to Bachelor of Engineering (including dual degrees) and the integrated Bachelor / Master of Engineering program in the following fields electrical engineering, electrical and biomedical engineering, electrical and computer engineering.

ICT Excellence Scholarships

Designed to attract, retain, challenge, and stimulate the most outstanding young people to join programs leading to careers in the ICT industry. Scholarships are awarded to students based on the Year 12 results coupled with their passion to study ICT at UQ. Applicable to Bachelor of IT, Bachelor of Multimedia Design, Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in ICT related majors.

The EAIT Women in Action Fund

The Women in Action Fund supports female engineering, design and technology students to engage in community and industry based experiences - via study tours, student exchange, and short term professional and personal development experiences. By mobilising our best and brightest female talent, we hope to nurture young women who aspire to careers in these fields, and positively action diversity change beyond the university environment.

The Fund supports research into Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) as a valuable resource for first responders. The applications for this technology are endless with surf lifesavers, police, fire fighters and rescue workers across Australia set to benefit by saving precious time in moments of emergency.
