Dr Tonguc Uysal managed to put in a very respectable performance in the 18th Annual Brisbane Marathon on Sunday, 22 August, and he finished 111th in a field of thousands of runners.  He is well-motivated with his performance and he is talking about having a large QGECE team next year running the 19th marathon.  If there are any takers, they should start training with Tonguc from early next year.  It looks like it takes at least six months to get to the shape that you need to finish the marathon (and may be forever for some of us).  Congratulations Tonguc.
