Mapping of Network Drives Windows Vista
How to Map a Network Drive from home with Vista

1. Run VPN
2. Highlight UQ-VPN and click on Connect.
3. Type in your UQ username and password and click OK.

4. Open Computer

5. Choose Map Network Drive

6. Choose the desired drive litter and type the path in the folder field.
To connect to your Home drive in the Folder box type:
- All Campuses except Ipswich students - \\soefile\s1234567 (insert your username instead of s1234567)
- Ipswich Campus students - \\uqistudent\s1234567 (insert your username instead of s1234567)
- Gatton campus students - \\nravsfile\s1234567$ (insert your username instead of s1234567)
To connect to your school’s G drive type the path to the share pertaining to your school in the folder box :
- Faculty Office \\UQGshared\FacultyOffice
- Vets \\UQGshared\vet
- Vets Shared \\UQGshared\vetshared
- Vets Clinic Diagnostic \\UQGShared\SVS-Clinic-Diagnostic
- SAFS \\UQGshared\SAFS
- SAFS \\UQGshared\SAFS_Shared
To connect to the campus S drive
Your network drive is now mapped.
