IT Procurement

If you wish to purchase computer equipment please log a call with the ITS helpdesk.

You will then be contacted by an IT Support Technician who will assist with the selection of suitable hardware and provide you with a quote.  The equipment is then ordered/purchased by your individual school's purchasing officer.

This is a free service provided by experienced ITS Support Staff.

Preferred Supplier Agreement (PSA)  

The University of Queensland has a Preferred Supplier Agreement (PSA) in place for the purchase of the following computing hardware:

Purchasing within the PSA is University Policy.  Purchasing outside of the PSA requires the approval of the Executive Dean and should always follow State Government Purchasing Practices.

How to get help

Should a staff member have a support request this should be logged with the ITS Service Desk. Your call will be recorded and assigned an ITSM case number which will be emailed to you for future reference.  Your case will be prioritized and tracked to ensure SLA response times are met.  The helpdesk should always be the point of contact and staff should not contact computing support officers (CSO) directly.
