The Faculty has standardized on UQ Exchange mail and calendar solution for its email storage with Microsoft Outlook as its mail and calendar client.

All staffs receive 500MB each of storage space for emails on the UQ Exchange server. This space can be increased through application with your school or organizational unit manager.

Web Access to your email is available through my.UQ the UQ staff portal. An alternative link is http://exchange.uq.edu.au

Outlook Web Access (OWA)

OWA can be used to access your e-mail from any computer with internet connectivity to the Web.  This can be usefull from home, internet cafes, airport etc.

How to get help

Should a staff member have a support request this should be logged with the ITS Service Desk. Your call will be recorded and assigned an ITSM case number which will be emailed to you for future reference.  Your case will be prioritized and tracked to ensure SLA response times are met.  The helpdesk should always be the point of contact and staff should not contact computing support officers (CSO) directly.
