Audio Visual Services

ITS offers full technical support for equipment in all of the University’s centrally controlled teaching rooms. If you experience any difficulties with any facet of the room’s operation, don’t hesitate to call 50181 and the local technician can be there in a few minutes.

Lecture Theater Recording

Lecture theater recording, via the lectopia system is one of the best means of providing teaching materials to students who couldn’t otherwise attend lectures. Currently on Gatton Campus, eight theaters are fitted with this system:

Video Conferencing Rooms

Currently there are two venues on the Gatton Campus fitted with videoconferencing systems:

N W Briton building 8101 room 201 - contact BritonBlgMeetingRooms@uq.edu.au to book.
Management Studies Building 8117 room 116 (part of the Regional Teaching Collaborative Learning Center) - contact central room bookings to book 52201.

Conferences are cost-effective and simple to organize. We can set up a video conference and liaise with your contacts at the other end to ensure a smooth event.

Audio Visual Equipment Hire

If you are planning a lecture, meeting or conference, on or off campus, ITS can help with your audio-visual equipment needs.

We provide advice and recommendations on the most appropriate technology for your event. ITS delivers and sets up equipment to your specifications, and can even provide full time on-site technical support during your event. Prompt telephone service is also offered on all hired equipment.

Bookings can be made from 8am to 4pm. To satisfy your requirements, we ask that you give us 24 hours' notice.
