 Information for authors

Proceedings

The Proceedings of the Conference will be distributed at the conference venue in Gerardmer. They will include:

  1. all the papers accepted for plenary sessions and received by 31 March. Papers should be not more than 8 pages, font Times Roman 12 point, and written in good English. There will be no further editing procedure, only those considered as acceptable will be retained. Extra care should therefore be taken to ensure that your paper has the correct length and is of the highest standard before you submit. (32 papers maximum)
  2. all the abstracts for papers accepted in parallel sessions (40 abstracts maximum).

Selected papers for the conference will be published in the Small-scale Forestry journal.

Papers submitted to Small-scale Forestry (SSF)

Authors who wish to have their papers considered for publication in Small-scale Forestry should follow the guidelines for authors for SSF. Papers submitted to SSF will be subjected to the full review process.

Two special issues are planned, subject to suitable papers being received. The first special issue will be on forest policy issues and edited by Professor Gerard Buttoud. The second special issue will be on forest management issues and edited by Dr Steve Harrison.
