Event Description

Full Description:
After an excellent response to our June/July Holiday program the RD Milns Antiquities Museum is proud to present, Discovering the Ancient Past – School Holidays at the Museum

Ever wondered how the ancient Romans bathed, or what an Egyptian make-up case looked like?

These school holidays discover the ancient past and hold history in your hands at the RD Milns Antiquities Museum. Learn how to wear a toga or chiton, and discover the use and purpose of a Roman fibula.
Write like a Roman senator, play King Tut’s favourite board game, and take home your own piece of history.

Entry to the Museum is free and all age groups are welcome.
No bookings required for groups under 10 people.

Opening hours:
Monday 23rd September - Friday 4th October
Monday to Friday 11am-4pm
