- The StemCore and CRA iPS Cell workshop is aimed at giving participants both practical experience with generation, identification and analysis of iPS cells (practical component); and to provide theoretical background of the fast developing field of iPS cell research (lecture component).
These comprehensive training workshops provide hands-on, laboratory-based training, and includes a lecture component from Associate Ernst Wolvetang, one of Australia’s leading stem cell scientists. The workshops deal with derivation of induced pluripotent stem cell lines (iPSC) and their subsequent passaging, manipulation, daily maintenance and characterisation
