Full Description:
Celebrate the beauty and diversity of the Moreton Bay region at The University of Queensland’s Moreton Bay Research Station’s Open Day. The family friendly event provides an insight into the rich diversity of marine life and habitats that sit on Brisbane’s doorstep.

Activities for people of all ages include:
• “Cool Companions” live reptile show
• Exhibits of live sharks, rays and other marine creatures
• “Reverse Garbage” art workshops
• Seminars on current marine research being conducted from MBRS
• “Mad Science” demonstrations
• “Vision through mangroves” art exhibition by Narelle Renn

Admission is free. Children are most welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.
