- Matthias Henze is the Watt J. and Lilly G. Jackson Chair in Biblical Studies, Associate Professor of Religious Studies and Director of the Program in Jewish Studies at Rice University. Professor Henze is currently also the Sir Asher Joel Visiting Professor at Macquarie University.
