- The School of English, Media Studies, and Art History, in conjunction with the Brisbane Writers Festival present Chris Cleave on his new novel, Gold.
Chris Cleave's debut novel Incendiary was a prize-winner and international bestseller, published in 20 countries. Inspired by his early childhood in West Africa, The Other Hand was his second novel. Both books were shortlisted for the Commonwealth Writers' Prizes. His latest novel is Gold. This is the story of two women. Their lives collide one fateful day, and one of them has to make a terrible choice. Two years later, they meet again the story starts there.
