Event Description

Full Description:
Many parts of the world passed through some period under the sway of Europeans who adapted their ideas for building cities, monumental structures and dwellings to contexts with exotic climates, cultures and building skills. Remains of Portuguese, Spanish, Dutch, British, and the enclaves of others have contributed to some of today’s great and chaotic cities in the tropical world and continue to provide magnets for tourists improving themselves with World Heritage nostalgia. Some of these outposts will be visited in the seminar.
