- Full Description:
- The talk will cover Dalen’s life and career, including the work which made automatic unmanned lighthouses possible, and won him the 1912 Nobel Prize for Physics. Examples of Australian lighthouses using his system will be discussed.
Col Gladstone is a retired lighthouse maintenance technician and volunteer at the Queensland maritime Museum.
