Full Description:
Professor Paul Greenfield AO, Vice-Chancellor, UQ will host an In Conversation with Anita Shreve on Friday 9 September 2011, 2.30pm to 3.30pm, followed by refreshments until 4.15pm.

This event is being held in association with the Brisbane Writers Festival.

Anita Shreve started her writing career as a journalist and her award-winning short stories and non-fiction have appeared in the New York Times Magazine, Cosmopolitan and Esquire. Shreve travelled to Nairobi, Kenya, where she lived for three years, working as a journalist for an African magazine. Anita is the author of 14 previous acclaimed novels such as The Weight of Water, The Pilot's Wife, Light on Snow, A Wedding in December, Body Surfing and Testimony. She lives in Massachusetts.

Attendance at this event is complimentary but seats are strictly limited.
