Description: ‘New Modernist Studies in Australia’ is a one-day symposium aimed at investigating current research activity in Australia in the rapidly evolving interdisciplinary field of modernist studies. The program will feature a nation-wide range of speakers, with a particular focus on raising the profile of emerging researchers and new projects in the field.

This symposium is supported by the School of English, Media Studies and Art History, the Faculty of Arts Cultural History Project, and the Graduate School, at the University of Queensland. Organised by Prue Ahrens and James Smith, on behalf of the Global Modernities Reading Group.
