The federal government has recently introduced the Native Title Amendment Bill 2009. The object of the Bill is to address the issues and obstacles that would allow mediation to become the preferred resolution process for all stakeholders. The Bill proposes an extension of mediator powers and control over the mediation process and participants.

This two day seminar is aimed at lawyers, policy makers, government agency employees dealing with native title, representative bodies, companies involved in native title claims, negotiators, mediators, and Registrars from the Federal Court.

Fee: $925 (inc lunch and light refreshments)
