Description: Keynote speaker Jatinder Kaur will deliver a lecture on Cultural Competence in the Human Services. Topics included are:
Migration and settlement issues;
Language barriers;
Different child-rearing practices;

Key learnings for practitioners to work effectively with culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) families in human service delivery; and
Developing culturally sensitive practice.
