- Full Description:
- This workshop is designed to provide practical advice to international students in particular on writing academic English. The session includes a special emphasis on grammar and English language in use including instruction on the tense of a verb and agreement of subject and verb.
It will also include discussion of the difference between informal colloquial language and formal academic language. Participants are invited to bring along drafts and samples of their work to discuss and develop their Academic English language competency.
Students who need practical help with the wording of their assignments are welcome to attend.
