- To commemorate the end of the Second World War, there will be a public lecture by Canadian historian Professor Jack Granatstein OC, PhD, LLD, DLitt, DHum Litt, FRSC on ‘Canada and World War II: The Last Good War’ at Emmanuel College on Monday 17 October 2005 at 6.00pm.
Professor Granatstein is Chair of the Council for Canadian Security and has been Chair of the Advisory Board of the Canadian Defence and Foreign Affairs Institute since 2001.
